Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
Teaching acting skills to students in a classroom / workshop setting
Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that incorporate acting techniques to teach acting skills 
Acting as a role model for students by demonstrating appropriate behaviour in class and on stage
Conducting workshops and seminars on acting techniques, acting methods, audition techniques, and other theatre topics
Designing theatre productions by selecting scripts, working with directors and actors to develop character development, and planning technical elements such as lighting and sound
Application of Human Behaviour and Psychology in course of the workshop is desirable
Managing backstage work such as building and painting sets and props, helping to run rehearsals, and dressing actors for their roles
Working knowledge of music and dance to collaborate with Dance Choreographer to create a Dance Drama
Evaluating student progress and providing feedback on technique and performance
Confidence and execution plan to teach, coach, prepare and rehearse with the group to put them on stage with minimum 48 hours of extensive training / rehearsals
